Dec. 7: Upcoming Show at Hungry Brain

Posted in

So much on my mind these days but I am trying to stay cool about the bad politics. Early cabinet picks suggest we’re in for a big dose of incompetence, outrage, overpromising, under-delivering…and soaking the public trough. As some have said, they didn’t come to drain the swamp, they came to drink from it.

Got a show coming up on December 7th at the Hungry Brain, 2319 West Belmont. You can buy tickets ahead of time here.

I will be giving away free copies of “Flood,” my new six-song, jazz-influenced CD. I’m told I also need to give away CD players as well because no one has them any more. Really? All those CDs are worthless? Ain’t that kinda the problem—out with the old and in with the new, over and over? People still dig antiques.

Either way, you high-tech types can download on BandCamp for free. Or just take a listen below.

As for the show, we’ll also pay tribute to the late Phil Lesh of the Grateful Dead. As Keith Richards wrote many years ago, “Another good bye to another good friend.” Also planning an Xmas song to honor veterans since we’re playing on Pearl Harbor Day. Hope you can make it. Hope you’re doing OK. Keep the faith…in America…in music…in love…in life.
